Buying and quantities

  • Start with the room, not the model: roll, corners and piece counts come first.
  • Mix models in one order - MOQ applies per model, not per order.
  • Use the classroom quantities guide for a starting specification.
  • Repeat the same model list across rooms so reorders and parts match.

Documents and age grading

  • Report status is confirmed before quotation, not after the order.
  • The CPC is issued by the importer; we provide reports and manufacturing data.
  • The EU declaration is signed by the importer or brand owner.
  • Age grades and the reasoning behind them can be shared on request.

Shipping and after-sales

  • FOB Ningbo with LCL, 20GP, 40GP and 40HQ options.
  • Cartons can be marked per room, site or campus.
  • Replacement parts ship with a reorder or on their own.
  • Multi-site orders get one delivery schedule and split packing lists.

Questions buyers ask

What is the minimum order quantity?
20 pcs per stocked classroom model. MOQ is set per model, not per order, so a room pack mixes blocks, role-play, trays and games in one order. Larger sets and furniture are typically 30-100 pcs, and outdoor pieces 100+ pcs.
Can we order one classroom before a full program?
Yes. Most buyers start with one room or a pilot site, then repeat the same model list for the next rooms. The model list is what makes the second order match the first.
How long does a quote take?
Usually two to five working days once the model list and destination market are clear. A room list without model numbers can be quoted after we propose a model list for approval.
Do you publish prices?
No. The destination market, report scope, models and quantity all change the price of the same toy, so every quote is built for the order. Prices stay in the quotation.
Can we get a sample before ordering?
Yes. Stock samples ship in 3-7 days; custom samples take 7-15 days after artwork sign-off. Sample cost is quoted per model and is credited against the production order in most cases.
What are the payment terms?
Typical terms are 30% deposit with the balance before shipment. The exact terms are confirmed in the quotation; purchase orders and invoices follow your finance team's wording.
What is the lead time?
Stock models ship in 7-15 days. Production runs 30-45 days after sample sign-off, plus 7-14 days in the July-October peak season. Commissioned testing adds 7-20 working days.
Can you mix models in one container?
Yes. MOQ is per model, and mixed loading across the eight classroom categories is normal. Container and CBM planning uses the carton data for the models you select.
Do you ship LCL for a single room?
Yes. One room ships as LCL or by air. Once the room design repeats across several sites, a 20GP or 40GP container is more economical.
How many unit blocks does a classroom need?
Plan 100-150 pieces for 12-16 children and 160-240 for 20-24 children. A block corner serves 4-6 children at once with 40-60 blocks, so the room count follows the number of groups and the storage.
What is in a classroom set?
A fixed bill of materials built for an area and a class size: models, piece counts and carton data. The pack sizes are 12, 24 and 48 pieces plus the 101-piece unit block class set.
What are standard unit block dimensions?
The basic unit is about 5 1/2 x 2 3/4 x 1 3/8 inches (14 x 7 x 3.5 cm). Half, double, quadruple, pillar, ramp and triangle shapes are multiples of that unit. Confirm the tolerance when matching an existing set.
What age grade do your classroom toys carry?
Every model is graded 3+ or higher. A set takes the strictest grade of its parts, and models with small parts carry the choking-hazard warning where the rules require it.
Do all models have test reports?
No. Each model states its report status before quotation: available, on request, or to be commissioned for the destination market. We name the models that have no report rather than assume coverage.
Can you issue the CPC?
No. The Children's Product Certificate is issued by the US importer or domestic manufacturer. We supply the test reports and the manufacturing data set the CPC needs.
Which ASTM F963 version applies?
ASTM F963-23 is the current version for the US market. The report should name the model, the edition and the clauses covered; an older edition should be checked with the importer.
Do you test to EN71 for EU orders?
Report status per model is confirmed before quotation. Where no EN71 report exists for the model and market, testing can be commissioned. The EU importer or brand owner keeps the technical file and signs the declaration.
Can we buy replacement parts?
Yes. Blocks, wheels, castors, knobs, hinges, screws, dowels, shelf pins and game pieces are available by model, shipping with a reorder or on their own for urgent repairs.
How should wooden toys be cleaned in a classroom?
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, wipe with clean water and dry immediately. Do not soak, steam or dishwasher-clean wood. Follow your licensing authority's sanitizing policy and the finish care sheet supplied with the order.
Can you put our school or brand mark on classroom sets?
Yes, on stocked models: engraving or printing for school marks and brand names, quoted per set with the branding MOQ confirmed before artwork. Any material or finish change is checked against the tested configuration before production.
