Wooden classroom sets - sized by class, not by SKU

A classroom set is a group of models packed for a room, not a single SKU. We build 12, 24 and 48-piece classroom packs and a 101-piece unit block class set, sized by class roll and delivery date. MOQ is per model from 20 pcs; mixed containers are planned from the same set list.

Schools do not buy one of everything. They buy a room pack, repeat it across rooms, and top it up at the start of each term. That is why our sets are built around class size and area, with a fixed bill of materials that can be reordered.

This page explains the three pack sizes, how a set maps to a room, what happens when a set is reordered six months later, and how sets share a mixed container with individual models.

Three pack sizes, one logic

The pack size follows the job, not the discount ladder. A pilot room needs a small pack; a new room needs a full pack per area; a term refresh needs a top-up.

Set to class-size mapping

The mapping is a starting point for a quote. Rooms with more than one age group or a shared block area usually need a larger block count.

What is in a set

  • Model list with piece counts - each model keeps its own MOQ and lead time.
  • Spare-parts allowance: extra blocks, pins, wheels and knobs on request.
  • Carton and CBM data per set for container planning.
  • Packing list split by room or site when the order is marked up that way.
  • Report status per model, not per set - a set inherits the strictest model grade.

Reordering a set

  • The set keeps a version number, so a reorder matches the original bill of materials.
  • If a model is discontinued, the replacement model is named in the reorder quote.
  • Term top-ups can ship with a mixed container to reduce freight per piece.
  • A spare-parts order can ship alone for urgent repairs.

Where it goes in the room

  • Opening a new room: a 48-piece starter pack per area, plus storage.
  • Refreshing a room: a 24-piece top-up pack for wear and loss.
  • Pilot or small room: a 12-piece pack to test the play pattern before a full order.
  • Multi-site roll-out: the same set list repeated per site with split cartons.
  • Term top-up: replacement blocks, game pieces and art consumables in one small order.

What a purchasing manager checks

  • What is in the pack, model by model, and can the bill of materials be reordered exactly?
  • How does the pack size map to our roll and room plan?
  • Can cartons be marked per room or per site for multi-site delivery?
  • What spare parts are included or available for the pieces that wear first?
  • Can a set share a container with single models from other categories?

Questions buyers ask

What is a classroom set?
A fixed list of models packed for group use, with a stated piece count and a bill of materials. It is not a random bundle: each set maps to an area and a class size, and it can be reordered as the same list.
Can I change the contents of a set?
Yes. Sets are built from the catalog, so models can be swapped for a different age band or room plan. MOQ then applies per model in the revised list, not per set.
Do sets ship ready for one room?
Yes. Cartons can be marked with the room or site name, and the packing list is split so each room receives its own box where the order allows.
